Andreas Hannes is creating a new production with his skipping practice. For this new performance entitled Anthology, he is looking for professional dancers that can be part in the creation process through different residencies in 2024 that will lead to a premiere in the beginning of summer in 2025. Dancers that

• are rhythmical

• are keen on working conceptually as much as physically

• are interested in extreme physicality and work with endurance

• are good with scores and counting

• enjoy and are playful with (big) jumps and pirouettes.

• have an affinity with different varieties of footwork.

• have complimentary background in hip hop, ballet or ballroom dances

• are willing to work with group dynamics

are encouraged to apply.

A short motivation (written, video or audio), your CV or equivalent and some video of your previous work is necessary to complete the application. The selected dancers will be invited to participate in a workshop on the 14th of January at Dansateliers in Rotterdam. More information will follow.

 

This call is primarily addressing dancers based in the Netherlands. If you live abroad and are interested in the project, please motivate your commitment.
